Polydimethylsiloxane Emulsion are non-ionic nature, and easily dissolved or dispersed in normal temperature water. 

Features

· Provides gloss and water repellency

· Good wetting and slip characteristics

· General purpose release agent including web release

· Imparts softening and lubrication to textiles

· Does not contain alkylphenolethoxylates (APEO)

· Complies with Detergent Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004

· Good emulsion stability up to 50°C ·

Good dilution stability up to 2% in water

Physical properties 

Applications

· As ingredient in polishes, Polydimethylsiloxane Emulsion is used to provide good

gloss with minimum smear in both car and furniture polish formulations

· Mould release :

o Rubber or plastic parts (stoppers, screw tops, bungs, etc.)

· Lubrication:

o Extruded rubber parts; conveyor belts

· Textile lubricant:

o Yarn manufacture

o Sewing thread lubrication

o Hosiery manufacture

o Sewing needle lubrication

o Glass fabric exhaust filters

How to Use

Can be added directly in the formulations or diluted in water prior to adding into formulations.
